Comments about Fantech FH 20 Dehumidistat:

I use this unit to control a duct fan in our basement. Rather then spend over a $1000 for a unit to control the humidity in the basement, I built one for less than $100. So far it is working.

Attached to a powerful fan, this switch has helped me eliminate humidity in my shower without wasting electricity by leaving the fan on. So fr it works great (1 month)

I use this to turn my dehumidifier on and off. It is an older model with a non-functioning humidistat.

Comments about Fantech FH 20 Dehumidistat:

We are using this device to control a fan to circulate air near a peak in a high ceiling, where humidity builds up on sunny days. We would like to be able to control the difference between the humidity where the device switches on (say 52%) and the humidity where the device switches off (which seems to be about 8 % lower). We are having trouble getting the fan operating enough to solve the humidity buildup but not have it run continuously. This is a unique problem and probably not what the device was designed to do, but is the reason for our lukewarm review of the product. Other than that, it seems to work as advertised.
