ELV4 (PSPLV512) line voltage thermostat is a cost effective, energy saving programmable thermostat for baseboard, cable and ceiling heat. The thermostat features seperate programs for weekdays and weekends with 4 settings per day.
You can have the thermostat provide the temperature you want when you wake up and turn the heat down during the day when you leave the house, saving energy. The thermostat can also automatically bring the heat back up in the evening and offer yet another setting to keep you warm through the night as you sleep. Your custom settings start over each morning for energy savings day in and day out.
Also, the Speed Dial makes this thermostat easier than ever to program.

For applications such as baseboard electric heat (resistive), the maximum load is 15 Amps, from a 20 Amp breaker. For heat applications such as a hot water circulator pump (inductive), the maximum load is 1/4 HP @ 120 Volts and 1/2 HP at @ 240 Volts.
This thermostat is not compatible with heating appliances which contain both and electric heating element (resistive) and a blower fan (inductive) within the same device.
Do not use with circuit breakers rated higher than 20 Amps. Use with 20 Amp circuit breaker.

Very easy to install and simple to program.
LCD readout is bit small, but manageable.
Does a good job of holding temperatures and is easy to override settings when you need to.
I've purchased two and will buy a third for the basement. I expect these to pay for themselves in one winter of saved oil.

Great for ceiling heat control, have it in three rooms now, plan to order a couple more. Have looked and looked in DIY stores and could not find, clerks had no clue what I was asking about. Brought a couple of them home but required 4 wire connection, and didn't seem to accomodate 220 volts.
Installation instruction are great. Saw these one day while searching internet, couldn't belive what I read, seemed to be just what I was looking for. So I ordered one, it worked great. Thanks you guys!

Nice thermostat, I've installed 4 of them in my house and have saved significantly on my heating bill. One caution though; replace the batteries before they go dead or you won't have any heat. It would be nice if it gave some audible warning when batteries are running low.
