I had 4 Honeywell thermostats go bad because the low battery warning did not work and the batteries leaked. The corrosive chemical spread across the circuit board and caused intermittent failures. I really liked the feature to power these thermostats with the 24v transformer my heating system uses. So no battery problems in the future. Plus the programming memory is non-volatile so a power failure does not erase the programming. I bought three of these for my multi zone system and am very happy with them. Highly recommended.

I have owned many programmable thermostats over the years and when I found the LuxPro years ago [@] I tried it and found it to be the best and easiest for all my staff to use. I have four at home and my workshop and one in my office for our central heat/air cond. system. When [@] stopped carrying it I was upset and could not find one when I needed to replace the old ones at my home, so I bought a Honeywell and another forgotten brand and put them in. The Honeywell was by far the hardest for even me, a professional, to program and operate. I went online and found the LuxPro at IAQSource.com at a great price and was thrilled. I am now back with LuxPro and could not be happier. It is so user friendly that me, my wife, and my staff are comfortable again. Thanks.

The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is due to the options. It is a 5-2 instead of 5-1-1 day setting. I knew that going in though and the price reflects it. Great product for the money. Easy to install, program setup takes just a few minutes as well. I only have the previously installed thermostat to compare it to, but I would have to say the overall temperature control is good.
I have different temp settings for morning, day, evening, and night for the Weekday setting as well as four settings for the Weekend setting.
I would definitely recommend this product for the price.

This product is a "plug and play" with your old one. Install is a snap and it offers more than the ones you can buy at [...]etc. Trust me, I've checked. This one has two addition configurations that you can adjust that the other ones do not have. They are the swing setting and the temperature differential setting. This allows you to accurately adjust the thermostat to the precise temp of the room or area, or if you want you can offset the temp reading. It's totally user friendly. Most of the thermostats in this price range also do not have a backlight which in my case is very nice. I have a handheld laser thermometer that I can point and get thermal readings from ceilings to vents etc so you can say that I'm a little fanatical about my temps and this product is versatile enough to please even me. I highly recommend this product.
