The FocusPROT programmable thermostat provides electronic control of 24 Vac conventional and heat pump systems or 750 mV heating systems. If used as directed, programmable thermostats can save up to 33% on annual heating and cooling costs. Savings may vary depending on geographic region and usage

I have a Carrier heat pump for which I needed a new thermostat. A technician recommended that I use a Honeywell for my new thermostat (my old one was a RiteTemp). I installed the Honeywell but the installation instructions were not the best (the heat pump wiring terminals did not match).
Once the thermostat was installed correctly, it worked just fine. Easy to use and easy to program

For a 2 stage Heat/1 stage cooling Heat Pump I found this to be a very good control thermostat. I installed without any problems as the Manual was very descriptive on installation and programing.
Service and delivery comments:
I placed the order on Thursday and UPS delivered on the following Tuesday. Well within the scheduled time frame. Both the Ordering and Delivery of the product was excedllent.

Paid 1/3 the price heating company wanted for this thermostat. Easy to install if you remember 2 things. 1. Turn off power to unit. 2. Be VERY sure you know here the wires will go. Mine requires 7 wires and both the old and new thermoststs were marked.
It works great. We love it.

THIS PRODUCT DOES EVERYTHING IT IS SUPPOSED TO DO. I HAVEN'T HAD ONE PROBLEM FROM MY HVAC SYSTEM SINCE INSTALLING THE PRO 6000. I WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO OTHERS.
