This thermostat cost a little more than I was planning to spend, but so far I'd say it was well worth it. It has all of the features I think I'll ever need, and it was easy to install and program. It holds the temperature right on the set point without constantly cycling on and off like my old thermostat.

I wanted a thermostat that would decide on it's own if I needed ac or heat to maintain a temperature. This was not an easy thing to find. This unit does EXACTLY that and has a vacation mode so I can set it to maintain a desired temp while I am away. It's perfect. I have no idea why all thermostats do not have this function. My only warning is that it ships without this function activated. In order to activate it, you have to hold a bunch of buttons down and then put in some cryptic code. Once that is done however, it works perfectly.
