The Type 1A65 Electric Heat Thermostat is designed for use on all types of electrical heating installations such as cable heat, baseboards, wall insert heaters, etc. Its narrow operating differential and the ability of its
fully exposed knob to sense both radiant heat and room air temperature make this control ideal for use on such installations.
Dial Setting: Knob may be set anywhere between 40° and 85°F by simply turning knob so that indicator on knob points to the desired setting.

After buying a couple Lux basic single poles that wound not turn off, I ordered two Rodgers-White single pole basics.
Thought they did not work, then realized how SMOOTH, GREAT they work, minimal variance in temp range, quiet, hold temp close to 1 degree variance. Comfort without extreme heat. Please continue to manufacture this product. PS. The covers are solid and stay attached for rental properties, Cadets fall off. Winner! First choice for me, till no longer available. Thank you for fast shipment and providing a quality economical, vital product.

We ordered this to replace an old thermostat for a 40 year old radiant ceiling heating area. It works quite well, however it does not have a thermometer which shows the room temperature. It is only a dial with which you can adjust the temperature.
