I purchased this transmitter as a replacement for an existing one whose display went bad. The new transmistter needs to be programmed to the existing receiver. The instructions state that you must follow the Receiver Instructions to do this. Nowhere in the manual does the heading Receiver Instructions exist. I had no clue whether this was part of the transmitter manual or a different manual altogether. I finally figured out they were taking about the House Code that was located under the Advance Settings portion of the transmitter manual. It would have been helpful if the manual had stated this.

What a GREAT invention to help avoid the work and expense of adding another zone in our home. We absolutely love this product. We should have bought this years ago instead of using our fireplace and/or fans to compensate for our old inadequate thermostat and the fact that we should have two zones but only have one. VERY easy to install and use. We had a heating and air conditioning person come in and install it for $100 in NJ. Well worth it to know it was done correctly.

Wireless is the way to go for thermostats. No need to worry about finding the "perfect" location for an old style fixed thermostat.
The fact that a simple touch of the buttons allows each unit to take control of the temperature, is a great feature. This is my third unit and I just touch the units as I move around the house to keep me in perfect comfort.
