Comments about Venstar Wireless Thermostat 2-Wire Kit:

We needed a more sophisticated thermostat to handle remote sensors in an apartment. This kit provided the power necessary. I installed a new outlet and positioned the relay and power supply near the boiler. I used the included instructions to wire the unit through a preexisting 3 conductor cable to the thermostat and boiler.

Comments about Venstar Wireless Thermostat 2-Wire Kit:

Bought an venstar t5800 thermostat not realizing I only had a two wire setup. Thank goodness my thermostat sits only 4 inches from a pantry closet that had a light switch that controlled a single light in my crawl space. I converted that switch into a plug and drilled a hole to the back of my thermostat housing. Everything looks amazing you can't even tell it's plugged into an out in the closet. I know if I didn't have the pantry set up this would of been a totally different story also i cut a small hole in the wall behind the thermostat to allow extra room needed for the resistor to be hidden as well.
