Comments about Robertshaw RS5110 Digital Programmable Thermostat - 1 Heat / 1 Cool:
I could not be any more happier. I felt like a kid at Christmas. I love the circulation feature that runs the indoor fan for 10 minutes, then shuts off for 20 minutes.
I also enjoy the back light being on all the time. For those of you who said this function did not work, you must not have enough thermostat wires and or do not have this hooked up to the 24v side of the transformer.
Another great feature that swayed my decision to purchase this thermostat is the Automatic change over setting and you can adjust the differential on when that will change over also.
I also enjoy the differential settings and how you can adjust that to 1/2 degrees so that the unit will not come on until it reaches that setting. I am very pleased at all the features and options and would gladly recommend this thermostat to anyone. It is really worth every penny.

It installed faster than I thought, and the adjustable temp differential works as advertised to keep my furnace from cycling on/off/on/off like it was with the old merc switch.

Comments about Robertshaw RS5110 Digital Programmable Thermostat - 1 Heat / 1 Cool:
This thermostat is great! It comes with a 5 year warranty regardless of who purchases it or installs it. None of this Honeywell PRO-INSTALL stuff. For the price one just can't beat it. It has so many features such as KEYPAD LOCKOUT-ADJUSTABLE SWING TEMP FROM .5-3 DEGREES-AUTO CHANGE AND MANY MANY MORE. It holds precise temp from where you want it & looks very impressive. It has the blue screen which is very attractive. All in All probably one of the better t-stats on the market. It is also a symbol of quality because it is made by one of the best companies out there-ROBERTSHAW!

This thermostat is great! For the price you just can't be it! It has so many features such as auto change & keypad lockout. It has adjustable swing from .5 to 3 degrees. It also has a 5 year warranty no matter who buys it or installs it-as well as the filter reminder. Like I said for the price-you just can't beat it. Most important is that it is made by Robertshaw-one of the best in the thermostat business.

Comments about Robertshaw RS5110 Digital Programmable Thermostat - 1 Heat / 1 Cool:
When I say a "great flexible product" that is exactly what it is I love the idea of being able to set your thermostat to turn on at .05 degrees above and below the set temperature you also have other options to fit what you would like for temp control. Try to buy a Thermostat at [...] or [...] that has this feature. the lowest they go is 1 degree difference. the only con is it is hard to figure out how to get setup but once you figure it out is easy to use. I love it

Comments about Robertshaw RS5110 Digital Programmable Thermostat - 1 Heat / 1 Cool:
Thermostat was brought for a Bar in gloucester city. The old thermostat was cycling the Air conditioning frequently. This thermostat allows you let the compressor stay on longer and cool the building more before shutting itself off.
Controls are somewhat complicated to set. 4 settings for weekdays for heating and cooling followed by the same for the weekend days.
i like the landlord feature that allows you to control the highest and lowest temp for heating and cooling.

Comments about Robertshaw RS5110 Digital Programmable Thermostat - 1 Heat / 1 Cool:
Until I installed this thermostat,I had a constant problem with my forced air furnace; it would frequently cycle on and off -the burners would ignite, but no air would come out. NO HVAC person who ever came to look at the problem suggested I change the thermostat. I simply decided to do it on my own, and WA LA!! the problem of the constant on and off cycling was remedied! I love that this thermostat goes on and off at the EXACT temperature that you set it. The instruction manual was a bit difficult to understand. Once you finally figure it out, its not difficult at all...it's actually quite simple (the manual made it seem much harder then it is). Easy install if you are a handyman or have installed programmables before.
