The Robertshaw® Universal Fireplace Remote Control Kits are Simply the Right Choice to meet your customer needs when it comes to upgrading their decorative gas fireplaces. To install - attach receiver wires to TH and TPTH terminals of the millivolt valve on your fireplace.  Configure code switches to establish wireless link between remote and receiver.  Receiver can be installed behind included switchplate (wall mount) or can install in base pan of fireplace.

This kit offers a handheld remote that communicates wirelessly with a compact receiver.  The compact receiver installs in minutes next to the fireplace millivolt gas valve. The 55644 model has the added convenience of thermostatic control. You set the desired temperature on the remote, and it automatically turns your fireplace on and off without pushing a button!

For safety, the remote has a lockout feature to prevent children's curious hands from activating the fireplace by themselves. The Robertshaw family of remote controls provides comfort and convenience that homeowners want, while offering contractors an easy to install product.
