Comments about Fantech AC Currrent Sensing Fan Switch - ACCS 40:
I needed to install a booster exhaust fan for my clothes dryer. The pipe exceeded the length allowed by fire code. Not knowing this product existed, I was about to design an electronic control panel to turn on/off the fan simultaneously with the dryer. Needless to say, when I looked in the internet and found this switch I was very relieved. It works just as a clamp-on ammeter, sensing voltage going through the hole in the switch. Even though the first one I received was defective, the company sent back a new one immediately. Very easy to install. and it works very well. I would certainly recommend this product and especially the excellent customer service of iaqsource.com.
