Installation was easy, I used the ring base instead of the solid base. Lined up ring base to round Honeywell thermostat and pencil marked and nail punched alignment holes in ring base to assist screws provided. Thought I might need grommets, but screws grabbed well in wall. Placed cover and locked with key, which fit snuggly. Seems a bit large but satisfied as small might have not fit or been too tight. The guard will serve its purpose as to being bumped accidently and heat turning on.

I am selling my house and have moved to another state. I was afraid that someone would turn both the air conditioners down to their lowest setting while looking at the house and then forget about it. I was afraid of getting a huge bill to cool an empty house in Alabama. I no longer have to worry about that, I set the thermostate to a reasonalble setting of 80 and left it like that. Your unit really relieved a lot of my stress. Thanks.
