Comments about Aprilaire 8052 Outdoor / Duct Mount Remote Temperature Sensor:
I installed it in the fresh air intake of my HRV so it is less affected by the sun. I was lucky in that I had extra wires running from my thermostat to my furnace and another set of extra wires running from my furnace to my AC unit outside. My HRV intake is right by the AC unit, so I simply used existing wiring and didn't have to run new wiring to install. I understand there is a kit that is wireless, but I could not locate one and I'd rather have it wired to reduce changing batteries anyway as long as it is accessible to do the wiring.

Comments about Aprilaire 8052 Outdoor / Duct Mount Remote Temperature Sensor:
Installed with a Aprilaire 8465. Enjoy seeing outdoor temp without having to go outside. It gets very cold here at times, now I can use the thermostat to control balance point of my heat pump.
