We are on a time of day program with our electric company. We pay an expensive rate for "On Peak usage and a much less expensive rate for off peak". We have programed for "On" on off peak hours and "off" on On Peak hours. This thermostat has proven to be very cost effective. We have learned to use off peak for our high usage electrical needs.

The instructions on programming the thermostat were a little confusing. I/we had a problem determining when I/we where programming date and time and when we were programming the temperatures for turning on the thermostat and turning off the thermostat. Also when I called the 800 number listed in the instruction I was told they couldn't help me and that I had to call a different number and that they probably wouldn't help me because I wasn't a licensed contractor. After a few false starts we figured things out and the thermostat seems to be working fine.

Installed for 600w/220v baseboard heater. After programming thermostat wouldn't advance to the setting (day or night)that was called for. After loosing sleep over the brutal install of new cable and a non-functioning thermostat, the thermostat finally figured out what time it was after a programmed set point elapsed.
Now, I wake to a heated bathroom where the water vapor in my breath isn't visible. Life is good.

The instructions were not very user friendly. We ordered two of these and when we installed the second one it was not as simple as our first installation due to a slight difference in the wires available. I understand that it is not the product that was the challenge but we scoured the instructions for clarity and were unable to find any. Even going out to the web posed a challenge. Once the second was installed correctly it works fine. Just a rather frustrating installation as it actually was a 2 day process.

This product has given us grea relief, as the old basic softheat themostats are so inaccurate, they get stuck and just let the heat run full blast all day long,.,.it either had to be 90 degress or turned off and cold.
This product has solved all of that...it looks great on the wall, easy to read, the intallation was a bit tricky with the wiring...but not too bad...about 2 hours for 2 units.
I have not seen my electric bill yet but I am willing to bet it is 30 percent less.
Great product so far...I will order 2 more for the rest of my home.

The unit was easy to install and the directions excellent. Programming was a snap. I also installed a RobertShaw unit which was much more difficult to deal with.

This line voltage thermostat is an excellent upgrade from our old dial type. The temperature setting are precise, as far as I can determine. It is easy to install and program. The only con is that the control access doors on the sides of the unit are a little difficult to open. I would also like to have the temperature adjustment buttons outside the access doors for quick adjustment. Overall, this is a great product at a relatively decent price.
Product arrived quickly and in good condition. Would do business again with Prothermostats.

I was looking for a way to control my heat instead of the "dial" control. Was unable to find a 4 wire solution in the big box home centers. Found these and tried 2 for my living room. I installed them myself, saving the cost of one, and after programming the 2 I have enjoyed the "set it and forget it" mentality. Loved them so much I purchased an additonal 3 for my home. (one for every room)--The controls are very easy to use, the programing very easy to learn and the pre programed settings are perfect for any room needs. (love the vacation setting for our guest rooms) The only thing that could make these better would be VOICE CONTROLS.

Customer service was awsome--when I emailed a simple question I recieved a complete response. This company made me feel like I was getting a special deal. like I was part of the trade....

Once I got thru the directions and figured them out it is easy to adjust. Requires you to keep a relatively stable schedule, but can be adjusted when you do not. I really like this device! Very nice to have seven days to schedule, only drawback is limited to four time zones in 24 hours. I often come home for lunch and there is no zone for that option.

I had builder grade thermostats in my new homes finished basement. I have four lenths of electric baseboard, each controlled by a thermostat, and the builders thermostats non digital, all seemed to play to a different drummer, each thermostat were easily off by 6+ degrees. I am now able to visually see the current temperature, and have a reasonable level of assurance that my new Honeywell line volt thermostats go on and off when reaching the setting I have selected. The preset program which honeywell has already built into these thermostats, is also not bad.

This T-stat holds the temperature really well (within 1 degF). Nice small size - looks good on the wall. I like the variable duty cycle heating output and the double pole switching (which allows you to turn OFF the unit, thus no voltage present at the baseboard).
My only bone to pick is that there are only 2 different temperatures to use over the 4 time periods. They are fully adjustable,of course, but I like to use a different setpoint for each of the 4 periods to really fine tune the room. But, that's starting the split hairs. I would buy this model again.

This easy to install, easy to use thermostat is a good one for replacing old, inaccurate controls. My only gripe is that the room temperature reading seems a little imprecise. Having a thermometer right nest to this thermostat, it reads 68 while the t-stat reads 66. Takes some getting used to but it can be compensated for. Overall, this remains much, much better than what I had before, offering much more control and saves me money.

My condo came with the spring model of heat controls, which are imprecise and can't be programed. I often use this thermostat on manual and it's nice to be able to have an exact target temperature. I have a digital thermometer and this one is pretty accurate. The programing is pretty easy to set up and can save you money on utility bills and have the head kick on in time for you to have a warm house when you get out of bed or get home from work. I have two of these, one in my LR and one in my BR.

Finnally a back light on a digital thermostatr for my 220 v baseboard heaters.
I have been looking for a digital thermostat for some time now wih a back light. All the local Menards, Home Depot, Lowes etc.. did not have this one in stock, so I had to google one, and I found one online.

The linevoltpro 8000 does an excellent job controlling the heat. It is johnny on the spot at all times. If your wanting a baseboard thermostat then this is the one to have. It is very modern easy to use and easy to install. I would recommend it to anyone.

Installed thermostat in every room since we have an all electric home. Installed very easily and any handyman that knows electrical connections can do it. If you are not handy or afraid of electric projects leave it to professionals. Just make sure circuit breakers are OFF. Follow instructions precisely!

Every month this winter has seen a 20% saving on my total electric bill. I have seen as much as a two degree deviation from the set temperature. Initial wiring of the product was a challenge. My original thermostat was wired differently and I had to find the correct pairs for each of three baseboard heaters.
