The M847D is a two position, 24 Vac spring return, direct mount actuator designed to operate ARD and ZD zone dampers. I have a 3 zone forced air HVAC system. One of the damper motors went bad and instead of calling a my furnace repair service, I wanted to see if I could change this on my own. Instructions were thorough and the change over was easy.

Original actuator motor failed in my zoned HVAC system. I ordered this replacement and it works better than the original. It is quieter and appears to be more responsive to controller signals.

We have a three zone central cooling/heating system with six of these ARD actuators. Two of our actuators stuck in the close position. It was a easy five minutes job to replace each actuator. But make sure you have a 1/8 inch hex wrench which is required to replace the actuator.
