Serious aquarium hobby plus new energy efficient house added up to a significant humidity problem. I connected this unit to my existing Fantech heat recovery ventilator and problem solved immediately. Easy to wire, easy to adjust, maintains stable levels...its been about a month and absolutely no complaints so far.

Humidistat is great. Works as advertised. Humidity level knob is pretty accurate for crawlspace accuracy.

I wired the Dehumidistat to switch a 115VAC outlet and plugged the dehumidifier into that outlet. It saved me from buying a new dehumidifier when the internal control became unreliable. Just set the internal control to max and let the DH10 take over.

Works as advertised. Dehumidistat is very sensitive and takes some adjusting to find the best setting. This is actually desirable since humidity in my area changes frequently.

I use this device to control a Danby 70 pint/hour dehumidifier in my basement. The dehumidistat built into this dehumidifier does not turn the unit off when the target humidity is reached--it just runs and runs (at 750 watts)!
This dehumidistat provided the missing functionality. I use it to turn the juice off when the desired humidity is reached and then set the Danby dehumidifier on continuous run. This combination works perfectly.

I have an attic fan originally installed with a thermostat in the crawl space to improve ventilation. After a home inspection (in the winter), the inspector recommended installing a dehumidistat to replace the thermostat to control the crawlspace humidity between 40-50% even in the winter. I could not find a dehumidistat at any [...] and found the Tjernland DH10 on line. It was easy to install and works great. Highly recommended to improve crawl space ventilation

I modified the dehumidistat by adding a relay and a switch so that it could be used as either a dehumidistat or a humidistat. It has a nice large dial that makes it easy to set for the desired humidity level.

The LG electronic dehumidistat controls are terrible to say the least, unit almost runs forever and never shuts off. My garage turned into Nevada type weather regardless of the % setting on the 65 pint LG dehumidifier (current model). The DH-10 solved this problem, works very well, and pretty accurate. Although, slightly expensive and they could have taken the time to put the sticker on correctly. I really wouldn't care but my unit is installed in the garage in plain sight not hidden in a crawl space or attic where no one would care because it wouldn't be seen.

We use the product to control a very large dehumidifier (using relay sets). It performs very well. It is reasonably accurate with the dial setting. The relative humidity swing is about 2 to 3 degrees between switching. It was very easy to install and is highly recommended.

We have a copper shop with an 8" through the wall vent fan to help control humidity, to keep the copper in good condition. The Tjernlund Dehumidistat has made the process totaly automatic no more switching on and off. It is supprisingly acurate for an analog controle it holds about a 2% range. The control was very easy to mount and wire since it comes in it's own electrical box.
