I purchased this to prevent my elderly father-in-law from turning my thermostat up to 90!! Works great! It was very easy to install, had it up in 10 minutes. Very low cost way to keep my heating bills under control.

Great fit and low profile for [...] thermostats. Bought 6 and installed all in less than 1 hour without having to remove or disturb thermostat. Warning: kit does does not come with plastic drywall anchors (size #6).

I have teenagers that love to move the controls on the Thermostat, when I use to get home from work my home is either to COLD in the Summer or too HOT in the Winter. My utility bills were outrageous, I've told them a million times Do Not Touch and why...Did'nt listen so now I CONTROL the CONTROLS.
I LOVE IT.....My wallet does too!

My thermostat is Honeywell RTH230B, size
5"X3"X1". This thermo protective box is too big.
The key to the lock is not made of strong metal.

You should have a smaller box that fits my thermsatat.

Fits into decor and looks great.

If you are renting your house this security device can prevent a person seeing your house or real estate agent from turning your thermostat off especially in winter. In winter this can cause you're pipes to freeze costing you thousands of dollars. This actually happened to a friend of mine so I searched for this device. An ounce of prevention (%16 in this case) is well worth it.

Haven't had a problem with it. Easy to install, just screw in the plate with the four screws provided around your thermostat and then lock in the plastic case and nobody is messing with your thermostat again.
