I wanted a thermostat that was easy to program; I didn't need different temperature setting on different days. I also wanted a thermostat that has a lock out code so other people can't change the temp. and make my bill go up. I also wanted an inexpensive one. This thermostat met all of my wants! I just wish it had an off button so I didn't have to raise the temp to make it turn off.

This is very nice for our michigan house. Installed in just over an hour. The instructions were wasy to follow. Display is easy to read without putting on my reading glasses. Replaced our honeywell round thermostat with this. We're totally pleased with this. Operates our oil furnace.

Everything I wanted, easy to install, and great price. I'm very happy with the two I purchased for a zoned house. I put one downstairs for a master, and one upstairs for a slave thermostat. They work great. I wanted thermostats that were easy to use, I like the non-programmable thermostats, and I especially like they were cheap.

We just had a new system installed in our home 11/2008 and the thermostat that came with it only allowed 1.5 degree temp. differential, which cycled the heat on and off way to frequently. When cooling season came the a/c would start and stop every few minutes,which is not good. So, I searched online and found this one and have the temp. differential set to 2 degrees and it works to perfection. It can go to 3 degrees if needed but 2 works great in our 60 year old not so air tight home. Cool and happy with my new system now.
