1st ever progammaeble Stat., Ihave had. Used with Central system. I had taken the front off air handler to make sure I needed the 24vac voltage Stat., and copied the wiring configuration from prexisting Stat. and comparing it with air handler wiring info. vs. the SHAW Instr. man. it was a breeze to install as long as all directions read and soaked in. Only CONS! is using menu buttons feel more selinoid thanelectronic even though they are. You have to press harder to accomplish task than one would think these days leaving an impression of how long this intrument is expected to last? I purchased stick on thermometers placed one right beside Stat. Both right on. Then placed more in other most lived in rooms. Adjust from there as can be 3-4 degree differential from Stat location to adjoining rooms. Decide your own economic vs. comfort from there!
