The NT20e Network Thermostat Includes support for two wired thermal sensors. A 21st Century Communicating Thermostat Proliphix has taken the programmable and communicating thermostat into the 21st century by integrating it with the Internet. Proliphix Internet Thermostats can be connected via Ethernet to a home or small business network and each is able to serve up its own web pages allowing the user to control and monitor their thermostats using a standard web browser on any desktop or laptop computer. Since Proliphix uses Ethernet, there is no need for a separate proprietary wiring scheme and when used in conjunction with a broadband Internet connection its full potential will be realized. Secure Monitoring and Control Over the Internet Users can monitor and adjust the temperature settings of each thermostat in their home or office over an authenticated, secure Internet connection. Thermostats can be configured to send alerts to users in the event of failure or high/low temperature alarms. NT20 Internet Thermostats can be configured to send high or low temperature alerts1 by e-mail or text messaging. This feature allows users to avoid the cost of over-heating, and the potential damage of frozen pipes. Unmatched Convenience Features Proliphix offers indoor temperature sensors (for NT20e only), which can be mounted away from the thermostat so that temperature inside a home or small business can be averaged across multiple rooms to avoid hot or cold spots and wasted energy. With an optional Proliphix outdoor temperature sensor connected to a networked thermostat, the heating/cooling system can be controlled more precisely to efficiently and more comfortably overcome the indoor to outdoor temperature difference. The web browser configuration tool is simple to use and allows users to easily configure heating or cooling programs to maximize comfort and minimize energy use. Comments about Proliphix Proliphix NT20e Programmable Internet Thermostat, Remote Sensor Inputs:

We installed this at our lake house. We wanted to be able to turn the A/C or heat on prior to getting there on the weekend so the house would be cooled off when we arrived. I was dreading the installation after I ordered this and even considered hiring someone to do it for me. But once I got it and read the instructions I thought I would give it a try myself. It was very easy. The instructions have clear examples and figures to follow. The best feature of this product is the internet access. Once installed and registered I was able to access and control the thermostat from any computer and even from my Iphone.

Comments about Proliphix Proliphix NT20e Programmable Internet Thermostat, Remote Sensor Inputs:

Purchased this product to use in a warehouse that is not always heated . Once installed I realized that the temperature would not display lower than 40 degrees and there is also a safety feature which will automatically kick on furnace below 43 or 42 degrees . A quick email to Proliphix gave me a simple solution to problem ( cutting out a component) and disassembly of unit was required to get to part . Now heat can be turned on hours before anyone arrives to work and no more cold workers or wasted heat!! A great buy .Only problem I have with unit is the display or web page will not display temperatures below 40 degrees.Maybe the remote sensors will display below 40 but have not tried that yet.

Comments about Proliphix Proliphix NT20e Programmable Internet Thermostat, Remote Sensor Inputs:

This was the only product of it's kind where I could hook up the thermostat directly to the router in my vacation home. Allows me to control and monitor the heat in the house while I am away. Amazingly simple to setup and install. The fact that it is wired directly to the router means that in the event of a power failure, the router will reboot automatically and the network is restored. Other products required you to dedicate a PC to create the network, however this means that if a power failure occurs, the PC will not boot and log its self in without human intervention. Some other products also required a monthly subscription to their service while the Proliphix unit automatically comes with the ability to network into their dedicated server as part of the cost of the unit. Tech support was very helpful when I need some assistance in configuring the router and network IP to work remotely with the unit. Great product all around.
