The Pro1IAQ Model T955W Touchscreen Wireless Thermostat Kit provides a stand-alone wireless thermostat solution. It can be expanded with the addition of other wireless accessories. This touchscreen wireless universal thermostat provides support for most 24V heating and cooling systems - up to 2 stages heat / 2 stages cool conventional, and up to 3 stages heat / 2 stages cool for heat pumps. This kit includes a wireless thermostat and base module. The thermostat can be located anywhere while the base module wires directly to your HVAC equipment. The range between the T955W thermostat and the base module is up to 100 feet with no obstructions and up to 50 feet in standard residential construction. Can be used with the following optional accessories: R251W - Wireless Remote Indoor Sensor - communicates with T955W. Up to four T251W can be configured to sense and display room temperature only or allow remote override. Note - 24AC required at T955W for communication with R251W Indoor Sensors. Control HVAC to remote sensor, or to system average. R250W - Wireless Remote Outdoor Sensor - communicates with the T955W to display outdoor temperature. Also can be used to set a dual fuel balance point, which elimintaes the need for a fossil fuel kit. Great thermostat. I work nights and my bedroom is the hottest room in the house. By using the remote thermostat with this unit, it allows me to keep the bedroom cool while I am sleeping and then keep the rest of the house at a good temperature when I am awake. Wish I had this years ago.

Product delivers on what it is suppose to do. Customer service for pro 1 was very helpful and useful. I bought this product because I own two units that share one HVAC system and needed to use the remote sensors to average out both units to be comfortable. You can use up to 4 sensors to average or you can temporarily override all but one sensor for 4 hours. That is my only complaint, you only get 4 hours, then it goes back to using the system default on whatever you initially set the main thermostat at. FYI: You can turn off the sensor for the main thermostat and tell it to only use the sensors which was a huge plus because I have it in the main common area, where as the sensors are in the living areas. This way, my tenant or myself can reset / adjust the default temperature and settings.

The thermostat that came with the house was in the upstairs hallway and really never did a good job about keeping the remainder of the upstair's rooms to a comfortable temp. Either the heater would turn off too early in the winter time or not at all during the summer (the ac would then freeze up). After installing this unit, which was very easy to do, I moved the thermostat transmitter to the master bedroom and now the temperature is constant and comfortable. This will pay for itself in no time.

Big, easy to read display. Lots of programming options. Works very well. Transmitter is installed upstairs on the wall; we use the remote downstairs and in other rooms upstairs and it works great. Very easy to install and set up.
