I purchased two of these units for a property I own because the tenant was keeping the thermostat at 75 degrees often with the windows open. With the rising oil costs, I had to make the system more efficient. This product is great for that purpose. My only complaint is that it is very easy for the occupant to adjust the programmable schedule. The unit can never be set above 72!

I bought both this unit and the Braeburn Model 2000NC. After installation, I strongly prefer the Braeburn Model 2000NC because of ease of installation and cost of the unit.
The ControlTemp is tamperproof...cannot change the limit temperatures. The Braeburn Model 2000NC limits can be changed but it would take a very knowledgable person with the unit's instruction sheet.

Stop abuse by tenants on HVAC equipment! I wish it was easier for the tenants because they get confused with the multi day/weekend display. But once past that point I love it. It can potentially cut our utility bills with as much as 10/20 percent or more in some cases!On a average bill of $ 10,000 a month@124 units that is significant savings!
