We wanted an updated model of a current thermostat. We had great luck with the older model and are equally happy with this model. The instructions were confusing for a simple installation. Because it was a cold winter,we had an electrician install them. It took him 10 minutes and would have taken us the same amount of time if we felt confident with the instructions. They can be simplified.
